IV. Touring Concert: Songs of Heart

Art, as a means of healing, has been acknowledged as an effective clinical practice worldwide.  Drawing from true stories, a music therapist will guide the concert that pays tribute to eight renowned disabled musicians from around the world with their signature tunes.  The concert will include a series of music interventions, such as listening, imagination, performances, singing, etc., encouraging the audience to comprehend the powerful healing experience of art therapy.  The experience signifies the process from gaining confidence through art to integrating oneself into society, the disabled musicians made a vital contribution as they created some of the best-known “Songs of the Soul”.  In the regular session, seven members of the Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble will perform with a host. In the special session, they will perform with an honourable guest.
